Catfish Friday Artist Collective
Catfish Friday Artist Collective previously known as Catfish Friday Women’s Art Collective was established in 2007 in Newark, NJ to provide support and build community among women artists. Visual and literary artists meet monthly from September through June to discuss their works-in-progress, exhibition opportunities and topics of concern to the contemporary artist. Today Catfish Friday is open to all artists interested in being a part of a supportive community of artists. During the pandemic the monthly meetings are held virtually on Zoom. Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month except during summer break in July and August
