Young Artists Step Up During the Pandemic

It's not easy being young, ambitious and wanting to be out there. Due to the pandemic being out there can cost you your life or the life of someone close to you. But lately, I have seen some young artists put their talent to work for them. I am speaking of artists Alex Guzman, Jeremiah Fleurant and Zaire Ponder. Since their graduation from Arts High in 2019 they have maintained an active art practice and found a way to use their art to launch businesses featuring their work and earning a name for themselves as artists and entrepreneurs. With very little capital but a whole lot of gumption they have managed to turn a challenging year into a very productive one. See their work in the slide show below.

Yema Arts has replaced Yema Gallery. Yema Arts is a digital space that showcases the work of artists. The name Yema is derived from the Yoruba female god Yemaya, guardian over the seas and oceans. For more information about Yema Arts contact us by email: info@artsetcnow.org.
